I was honoured recently to have had the opportunity to write and arrange the orchestral part for Mistahi Corkill’s upcoming song “Workers of the World Unite”.
Mistahi is an activist singer-songwriter from Canada. He has released several singles and albums, including “Rome is Burning,” “Charity” and “Move On” . He writes songs in support of various social and global causes. He has been featured in publications such as Peace & Planet News.
This song is inspired by the well-known slogan from Karl Marx’ Communist Manifesto, and advocates for the downtrodden workers of the world to stand up to their opressors.
The arrangement for “Workers of the World” was recorded by the Moscow Metropolitan Session Orchestra and conducted by Vladimir Podgoretsky. The full song will be available soon, but for now, here is a video of the orchestral part.
